Alicia Abelli has been with Friedman & Moses, LLP since 2007. As an associate with the firm, she specializes in special education law, representing children with disabilities and their families throughout the administrative hearing process and related proceedings. Prior to joining Friedman & Moses, LLP, she served as staff attorney for an organization specializing in education law. She completed an internship with the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court in Richmond, Virginia, and has an extensive history in advocacy for women, children, and families. Upon graduating law school, she was honored by the National Association of Women Lawyers, and received the Public Interest Law Association's Pro Bono Award. She received her law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2006, and graduated magna cum laude from Bucknell University in 2003.
